About Us

Tung Wah Group of Hospitals established Tin Ka Ping Youth Centre in June Garden, Tai Kok Tsui, providing youth services to Yau Tsim Mong District for more than 30 years since 1990. In response to various service needs, this unit has provided diversified integrative services for the community since September 2002. Combining outreach and school-based social work practices, the centre has broken the age limit with integration of comprehensive services. In April 2003, it started to provide the elderly in the district with services in intergenerational harmony. The implementation of intergenerational harmony services has made JCTKTISC a comprehensive services centre serving young people, parents and the elderly.

Service Purposes

We are a family-focused integrated services centre. With our professional knowledge and team spirit, we serve children, youth, parents and the elderly with creativity, passion and positive manner to help children, youth, parents and the elderly to actualise themselves, participate in the community and build up positive attitude to their life.

Service Objectives

1

To provide one-stop integrative services for youth people, parents and the elderly in developing their potential and facing challenges in different life stages.

To strengthen the supportive networks between family, school and community so as to establish a positive growing environment for the children and youth.

To enhance mutual understandings among youth people, parents and the elderly so as to establish a caring community.

To provide integrated services for deprived youth people and families

Membership

Your rights：

  • Priority to participate in varies types of activities and interest classes

  • To use facilities in our centre, including the self-study room

  • This service unit will stick to the principle of confidentiality in handling your personal data, unless disclosure is required by law.

Your obligations：

  • To present a valid membership card when registering for activities or using facilities in our centre.

  • The membership card is non-transferrable. HK$10 will be charged for a replacement card in case of loss.

  • Notify our staff as soon as possible if there are any changes to your personal data

  • Keep our centre neat and tidy

Our centre offers room rental services for external organisations and our members. Interested parties please feel free to ask our staff to fill in room rental services form or register with membership cards.
